Lake Fire

·                     Reported at 4 p.m.

·                     Location: Near Sheridan Lake 1 mile east of intersection of Highways 385/ 44.

·                     Size 40 acres

·                     Resources on scene: VFDs and Black Hills Forest Service engines

·                     Resources Requested: Type III overhead team, 1 Single Engine Tanker (SEAT) and 2 South               Dakota Air National Guard Blackhawk helicopters

·                     Conditions: Burning in thick stand of ponderosa pines

·                     Structures Threated: Nearby homes are at risk.
